Seasons

We train outdoor all year round to compete in Cross Country Nationals in the fall, Indoor Nationals in the winter, and Track and Field Nationals in the summer. Runners register a season at a time.

Fall – Cross Country

September – December

Age 8 & Under (Must at least be in Kindergarten)
Age 9+

Train 2 to 4* times a week (the 4th training day for Age 9+ will either be Saturday or Sunday if no meet that weekend).

Cross Country Events: 1K, 2K, 3K, 4K based on age

Our club is in the Central Maryland Youth Cross Country League. League meets are typically on Sunday afternoons. We also participate in Invitational Meets on Saturdays.

Winter – Indoor Track

January – March

10-week program ending week of Mar 10, 2025 and includes AAU Indoor Nationals. Those who meet qualifying standards of other national meets may choose to compete in those meets as well.
Winston Churchill HS outdoor track under the lights primarily. When it is not available we may train at various outdoor locations in the Potomac/Bethesda/Rockville area such as Avenel Local Park, Buck Branch Park, Herbert Hoover MS, Cabin John MS, or Robert Frost MS.

Cost includes race fees of regular season invitational meets and AAU Indoor Nationals. New Balance, Nike, and Adidas Indoor Nationals have additional race fees for those who qualify and wish to compete.
We will participate in invitational meets on Saturday or Sundays in addition to AAU Indoor Nationals. Athletes who qualify also have the option to attend National meets such as New Balance Indoor Nationals, Nike Indoor Nationals, and Adidas Indoor Nationals by paying additional race fees not included with registration.

Spring – Track

March – May

Notes
  • Cost includes weekend Bullseye-sponsored summer meets, AAU Districts, AAU Regionals, and AAU Club Championships, which is a national meet and qualifier for JOs held this year in Jacksonville, FL.
  • All athletes must register and pay the annual AAU membership on their own separately.
There are Bullseye-sponsored meets on Saturdays in addition to AAU Districts and AAU Regionals for HS summer track participants. For the regular Summer program, there is also the AAU Club Championships in Jacksonville, FL in July.

For those who qualify and wish to attend New Balance Nationals or AAU Junior Olympics, additional race fees must be paid.
