For our 2023 community service project, Seven Locks Running Club partnered with 2 deserving causes:
Assist Goals – for their 3rd Annual Stay Warm Packages Campaign to raise resources for and awareness of homelessness in our community.
St. John Center – in Louisville, Kentucky, where athlete Lucy Clark’s aunt is the Associate Director of the Center and works directly with individuals who are currently homeless or are in the process of finding permanent housing. St. John Center’s mission is to help people who experience homelessness address the barriers to housing and self-sufficiency so they can leave homelessness for good.
7Locks athletes once again did an outstanding job fundraising.
We raised a total of $10,334.06!
All funds raised will go towards the Adam’s Place Emergency Shelter, Harriet Tubman Women’s Shelter, Washington DC Downtown Day Services Center, and St. John Center.
Assist Goals totals: $6,135 – 1st place in the team results for a second year!
St. John Center totals: $4,199.06 – Athlete Lucy Clark will be heading to Kentucky in March to visit the St. John Center for their annual fundraising event and deliver our check.
