Our 20 athletes who travelled to Virginia Beach had an incredible meet this past weekend at AAU Nationals!  We collected so many PRs and medals.

2 Meet Records

Emma Pham (12yo girl) repeats her double National Titles at AAU Indoor Nationals in the 3k and 1500m, this time setting meet records with times of 10:27.04 and 4:55.34, respectively.

These gold medals bring Emma’s individual National Titles total to 5.

3 Double National Champions

Morgan Byford (12yo boy) repeats his double National Titles at AAU Indoor Nationals in the 3k and 1500m, too!

Morgan also earned a bronze medal for the 800m.

Morgan’s individual National Titles count is now at 6 with his total National titles (including XC team and 4x800m relay at AAU JOs) at 8.

Zara Williams (13yo girl) joins the ranks as double National Champion, winning her races in the 3k and 1500m at her first AAU Indoor Nationals meet. Zara received another All-American medal coming in 8th in the 800m.

National Champion in Her First Season

Maddie Palacheck (14yo girl) won her first National Title in her very first season of track with Seven Locks Running Club. She took 1st in the 3k, 2nd in the 1500m, and 5th in the 800m.

12 All-Americans

In addition to Emma, Morgan, Zara and Maddie, these 8 7LRC athletes are All-Americans combining for a total of 22 All-American medals.

Alexandra Pham (9yo girl) – 5th 1500m

Ophelia Lindstrom (12yo girl) – 7th 3k, 8th 1500m

Samuel Fogg (12yo boy) – 7th 3k

Cavan Kootman (13yo boy) – 6th 1500m, 5th 3k

Graham Wilson (13yo boy) – 6th 3k

William Byford (14yo boy) – 7th 1500m (qualified for New Balance Nationals!)

Henry Dresser (14yo boy) – 7th 3k

Patricio Pardo (14yo boy) – 8th 1500m, 2nd 3k
